We tagged along the carnival at the residential area in Puteri 8 last Saturday morning on 17/7/2010.
Thanks to The Star and Red fm for allowing us to have a booth to promote our doggies for adoption and raising funds. Also thanks to the residents generous contribution towards our funds for the maintenance of the dog shed and daily expenses.
No dogs were rehomed on the day but we managed to create some awareness to the public about our cause of work, we met some nice dog lovers, curious children, have some enquiries about our dogs and pups and made some good contacts.
Below are some of the photos to share with you all…
Police force passing by our booth
Animal lover cum independent rescuer Ng Yan Wei and her friend Choi Chi Lan (not in pic) from Puteri 12 came to take a chance to voice out their concern about stray dogs issue in their neighbourhood. They proposed a more humane way to treat the strays instead of catch and put down. Yan Wei helping us to “jaga kedai” because we did not have enough helper on the day…
Our multi purpose banting and towels up for sale….
Our booth with colourful photos…
Red fm DJ and rep from police force exchanging view on safety issue in the neighbourhood…
Last but not least, see….our pups managed to attract so much attention from the curious children and even the adults….
Happy viewing…:)
We look forward to see for those who have enquired about out doggies…please help us to find them a good home!!
