Confessions of A Brontophobic - Mr. Guinness Stout

We run this posting again as Mr. Guinness has been returned over the weekend. Guinness is a generally brave dog but surprisingly he is afraid of thunder. If he could, he would want to hide himself under a table or seek the protection of a mighty chair during a thunderstorm. Sometimes he even tries to squeeze into really tiny spaces. He would use his paws to cover up his big mega ears and try to calm himself down by murmuring to himself "be a man, it's just a thunderstorm. It's no big deal, I'll get through it."

We are firm believers in "awesome dogs definitely deserve good homes". So we are now doing our best to rehome our awesome Guinness again.

Guiness enjoys car rides. And he only likes taking pictures of his side profiles.

"Hunger was my everyday enemy. Every morning I check my trademark smile in the mirror, put on my best suit (black) and start work at the break of dawn, pacing up and down that familiar road hoping that someone might spare me some of their breakfast leftovers. I really admire Mr Darlie, he's my idol. He's really successful."

  1. Guinness is sure a handsome boy. And he sounds like such a wonderful dog. We had a dog that was very afraid of thunderstorms when we were kids, and h would always try to hide in the smallest of spaces. But we understood and loved him dearly. We hope and pray sweet Guinness finds a forever family that understands that part of him, too.

  2. Oh my god. It is raining heavily now. Poor boy must be trying to find a place to hide. He is a lovely dog if you take some time to warm up with him. He showers you with loads of attention everytime he sees me and he still remember me two months after we rehomed him. He is such a unique dog that we affectionately nicknamed him bouncing dog. He bounces up and down on all fours (instead of jumping up and down) everytime he sees us.
