No better moment

There is no better moment than when we knew our pups has truly found a good loving home. Blossom and daughter, Charity who have adopted one of our pup Nescafe has sent us a mail on her progress.

"Yes! she is doing fine...on saturday afternoon, she had her first vaccination & deworm tablet (which she very cleverly spat out many times!!)...tho she had fever, she was ok by evening and was racing about in the house. So far she is IN the HOUSE everyday n not allowed outside at all. Though we have visited my sister's home!!! and Coco has also received visitors!!!We have renamed her 'Coco' ...still trying to train her where to poo n wee n she is slowly getting it.Here are some pics of Coco but be prepared as she is pretty quick, so I have many blur photos..lol and will later feature her on my blog too. Btw the girl you see in the photo is my daughter, Charity.Do you have any photos of her when she was smaller?"

The Wonders of Technology

Ever wonder how we work ? We volunteers here have not at one time sit together and get to know each other! We are here in and out the shed at different times.Oh we sometimes do meet each other and its always a ‘Hi and Bye!’

The wonder of Technology has really connected us together. As we have our own individual daily obligations to attend to we rely a lot of the internet and sms to communicate.We are all from different part of the city and it was the net that brought us together. The net to0 help us to save lifes by posting the plight we would like to help,the dogs that need a home and to get the help from others.

We are also very amazed on how we worked together.We did what each of us feel need to be done. There is no squabbles and no quarells but an ultimate aim to ease the surfferings of this poor animals.

To whoever have created this wonder, we Thank you.

AnimalCare headed by Dr Chan Kah Yein has once again offered their service to help us in getting one of Aunty Kiew's dog spayed. Kudos to AnimalCare! Here is ET junior, she is recuperating well in the shed after the surgery. Thank you to Dr Chan again for being so patient and her great passion in helping us despite our untimely appointment which has caused her some hassle due to our difficulties in getting the dog to be spayed. We had initially intended to send another bigger dog named "Dangdut" (interesting name by Aunty Kiew, ya?!) but she ran away to her hiding place sensing that we want to "catch" her. (Oh, boy, you all must be curious as to why we have to "catch" and how we "catch" her har?... yes, we have to "catch" the dog instead of "pacifying them" to get them in the car, they are stray dogs, not our normal pet dog, so this is not an easy task!)

Poor little ET had a terrible car sick ride during her journey to Mayo Clinic in Subang Jaya, she started to feel uncomfortable and started to saliva heavily as soon as the car was out of the Old Klang Rd and vomited badly when it was only at OUG area. Mrs Lai, who is transporting her, have to stop to clean up the mess. Luckily she laid some papers on the car seat . When Mrs Lai reached USJ 10 and about to park the car, ET junior vomited again! Oh, dear, according to Mrs Lai, her car as well as the dog were in terrible state. Haha, Mrs Lai used up the whole box of tissue papers to clean her up before she dared to show her to the Vet! Luckily she wagged her tail happily as soon as she was in the clinic.

Little Et was taken back to our shed the following day. She seemed so happy to be home again. We have put her in a big cage so that she can rest without being disturbed by her playmates in the shed. Dr Chan was very concerned about her health after the surgery and was wondering whether there is anybody taking care of her. Thank you to Dr Chan once again for being so supportive and so concern about each and every single case she handles.

As Dr Chan always said, one more spayed, one million life saved!! We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to her, without her help, we may not be able to make this mission possible.

Little Frosty

Let me introduce you to our little Frosty. Frosty is the adorable pup of our temple. He will be the first to greet us when we arrive. He will try to see what you have brought for the doggies in the temple. Well, he is actually looking at what you brought for them to EAT. Yes, fooood….. is all he can think of and that explain why he is so chubby.We actually have to lock him in the cage at times when we feed the smaller pups otherwise he will find his way to their food. He is not bother whether the food is for the bigger or smaller doggies. He will just want to be the first to taste it. That’s him and we adore him.

After every meal, you will find him snoozing …….away……or playing by himself. He is really a heart stealer,very independent and lovable. We hope that he will be able to find an owner who is able to shower him with undivided attention and guide him to be a good companion. Oh Yes, control his eating too…

Bye Mum, I hope you will find a good home too. I will miss you mum. Though we do not have to worry about food and shelter here, but its obviously better to have a owner to care for you and a cleaner environment to stay.

Timothy and John with Lemon

The last of Wolfie’s pup, Lemon found home with the Ngiams. The Ngiams came 2 times to visit the doggies.After carefully deciding which pup to adopt ,they finally came back in the evening to take Lemon home. Andrew and Joyce thanks for giving Lemon a home and your kind concern of our doggies’ welfare here. Your offer to help is very much appreciated. Do visit us whenever time permits. Hope Lemon will bring your family lots of laughter and joys as she has given us here.

Puppies gaining back confidence

3 puppies were rescued by Aunty Kiew 3 weeks ago in the market (again...yes! again), they were nearly picked up by DBKL dog catcher team. Kind Kiew placed them in the small shed while they were recovering from the trauma. Poor puppies cuddled each other and squeezed on one side in the shed.

They were too scared to meet people, Aunty Kiew was bitten by the white pup when she tried to pacify them. They only dare to eat when everybody is out of side. Last Saturday when I saw them, they finally moved out of the shed and stayed along with the rest of their friends. However, they still trust nobody. We hope the puppies are gaining back their confidence the soonest possible, we wish we can help more to give them a good and loving home.

Rehomed, Returned and Rehomed

Our Lost pup Kennedy found home with the Hos 3 weeks ago but after 1 day he was returned! Kennedy is a hyperactive pup.He will not leave Master Ho alone on the first night. Luckily helpful Kim decided to foster active Kennedy for a week to train him to behave. As usual Kennedy is full of mischief when Kim’s pet dog refused to play with him, you will find him at her neighbour’s compound. Well he could be lonely and needs a companion. So when he went back to the Hos, he has Wolfie’s pup as his companion.According to Mrs Ho, she almost gave up on Kennedy but after giving him more time, she realised that Kennedy is adjusting himself to the new environment and she too is beginning to accept him as he is .Now with Wolfie’s pup around Kennedy is no longer lonely and Wolfie’s pup has a mind of his own too eventhough he is much younger than Kennedy
