Mindy has been adopted!

We are surrounded with such great news recently. Some of our dogs were adopted during the adoption drive at IOI mall and also at the shelter. Even better news that Mindy has been adopted! Mindy was fostered by Mrs Lai with loads of TLC. She has been adopted by Mrs Lai's neighbour. Now their dog Abby has a new friend whom she can play with and get some exercise. here's some pictures taken at Mindy's new home. Mindy is happy that she has a big sister now who will look after her. This is Abby, the big sister. Mindy is the brown puppy.

This is such great news that Mindy has found a good home and great company with Abby. We hope more dogs will have this privilege.

Fair & Lovely Johnny still looking for home

Johnny is one of the featured dog in our press release yesterday. He was surrendered to us by his owner after a neighbour complained she had too many dogs. Johnny is devoted to his owner and was initially depressed when he first got here but has learnt to adjust, although he is still wary of new people.

Unfortunately, the stars forgot to shine down on Johnny yesterday.. He waited and waited and waited but didn’t managed to be adopted. Perhaps it is partially our fault as in order to keep him away from other male dogs, we ended up keeping him at a not so visible area.

** Johnny, so sorry, but don’t worry, we will not stop looking for home for you **

If you’re interested to adopt Johnny but not sure how well would you get along with him, do not hesitate to drop by the shelter to spend some time with him.

Peter Pan, adopted

Our big little boy, Peter Pan charmed his way into the heart of his new family member yesterday. Our big big thanks to the kind couple for giving Peter Pan a loving home!

~Peter Pan took some time to say goodbye to Aunty Kiew and have one last look at the shelter before shyly going home with his new family~

 

Cotton’s massage session

Yayyy.. Cotton is finally smiling again! She’s in such good mood that she even give us some flirty smile :D

And for being such a sweet gal, she’s being treated to a special massage session by Rena =) Just look at how blissful Cotton look :D Thank you very much Rena!! Come again soon :D

All About Roody

You have no idea how delighted we are when we received some recent updates about Roody . Why, well because it seems he’s adjusting very well at his new home and bonding easily with members of his newfound family (yep and this includes a fellow canine family member).
As fate would have it, Roody and his adopter met during our IOI adoption drive 2 Sundays ago. According to his adopter, he can bond very well with the adopter’s existing doggie, Fluffy. In the exact words of the kind adopter “ We are glad to have Roody. Because of him, Fluffy isn’t as emo (emotional) as before”.

Great job Roody! Just by being yourself, you’ve made a difference in another living being’s life! We are all soooo proud of you!

Missing Rottweiler at Seksyen 17, PJ

This missing Rottie belongs to Sheralyn Lisa. Please help her spread the words!

Hi, Attach herewith are some pictures required by your goodself & some info that might come in handy of my 7year old female rottweiler that went missing on a stormy evening in April 2011 at Petaling Jaya Seksyen 17 ( near Lisa D'Inn Hotel & Sin Chew Jit Poh ) .. She was last seen with a Red collar & green Licence tag.. Suspected that she may have wondered & got lost in the areas surrounding Seksyen 17 PJ ( unless she been taken away elsewhere ) and now been takencare by whoever that must have found her .. She is friendly & has excellently good tempremental for a Rottweiler.

Pandai-nya....

Do you still remember our Lil' Panda Girl who was rescued by Ethan in MRR2, Ampang back in 2010?

The 1st week when we started fostering her. She was looking really lost back then. And she was an avid escape artist.

Few weeks after fostering... She was looking happier and started being a very homely girl (宅女). She dashed back to the toilet where we kept her during daytime once she was done with her eating and business.

And then Panda Girl finally has her day. She is an super-duper lucky puppy who got adopted by the young couple Alvis & Helena.

SOS! Missing dog in Kepong

We received an email from a girl, Xuan who lost her dog since yesterday afternoon. She has not been able to find her dog. Her car was stolen by 2 indian man near Brem Mall. Details as below：

EMERGENCY!!! Please help me look for my FEMALE dog name GLAMOUR,WHITE MALTESE, my dog is in a grey MYVI BHW9881(15-8-2011 / 3.00pm),kepong area near by Brem Mall, the car was robbed away by two Indians who riding motorcycle with my dog inside. I miss her a lot, do not know what will happen to her and where she is right now,might be out of this location. We are anxious to hope once again to get her back,the dog is recently has a short hair cut. Please give a help to look for my dog, any news/information please call 0172005156 / 0123862288. Madame Wong Needs HELP!

We have some bad news about Ah Wong here. =(

Life ain't peachy after her 1st reconstructive surgery as her pee-ing problem couldn't be fixed yet. Her urethra has been blocked by scar tissues. Dr Edmund had to perform a subsequent reconstructive surgery to make the 'pee-ing hole' bigger again. 

Madame Wong is still at Dr Edmund's clinic, under observation after her first reconstructive surgery.
